Whilst my initial stay from the 16 was fair it was spoiled by second stay from the 25-26 of September which was supposed to end on the 30th of September. Whilst I appreciate that when our
administrator was advised that there hotel was fully booked for the week and that you could only accommodate me for two nights. I had no option but to accept the two nights hoping that a vacancy would be available since I was placed on a waiting list. During those two days I kept on reminding your staff if a room has been found for me but unfortunately nothing materialized and I had to check out on Tuesday 27/9/16 as per our initial booking and I resorted to sleeping in my car.
What then surprised me was that a colleague of mine who was not even on the waiting list was booked in on the 28/9/16 whilst I was still sleeping in my car and upon enquiring I was told that only one drop out was received and they booked him in. Whaaaat?
I have always made it a point that when I come to Bulawayo for business I would make sure that I am booked with Holiday Inn but I now feel let down. The hotel failed to look after me at the greatest time of need and have made a conclusion that all those "smiles" that we always get when we walk in to the hotel are not after all real.
I am still sleeping in my car up to Friday 30/9/16 and have just felt that I need to air my concerns. [Less]
