The staff was attentive and very friendly. We had an issue with the AC that was addressed very quickly and we were moved to another room when it was unable to be fixed. Great stay!

There was nothing on the web site that said the restaurant was closed or in the reservation confirmation. I paid extra for breakfast and received yogurt and a dry muffin! That is not breakfast nor was it worth the price paid. It would have been better to just say meals were not available and give us a list of local places.

Lafayette City Center stay

The hotel was very nice. The room was clean and quiet. There was probably less than 10 guests, and was very empty. The staff at the front desk were excellent.
There was no microwave in the room which was a surprise to me. Also, the bathroom design was awkward with door blocking the toilet area. Otherwise, everything was good.

Good overnight experience on a business trip. Would want more if I had to stay in the are first an extended time. The front desk staff was polite. Love the Keurig in the room.

This location was consistent with all other Holiday Inn properties. The room was nice as always. However, the main elevators were not working, the service elevator was the only option.

Very Disappointed

I guess I expected too much, I realize that with the current health crisis things are not as they should be but my stay was very disappointing. First the guest elevator does not work and you are forced to use the service elevator, which means going down a service hall which has not even been, in any manner cleaned up or at the very least made minimally presentable. Another guest asked to use the toilet near the check in counter and was told "they are all out of order, but I guess 1 flush a day won't hurt". I asked for extra towels and a blanket one morning, came back and found them thrown inside my door on the floor. Saw other extra towels on the floor outside of other rooms - I would think at the very least these type items could be placed in plastic bags for sanitary reasons. When I checked into my room I found trash still in the waste baskets, fingers prints on the mirrors like it really hadn't been completely cleaned, just clean sheets and a vacuum. Also the hotel appears to be going through renovation or is in need of it as there are walls with peeling wall paper and no bottom trim and doors with large pieces of blue tape over them which I found very unsettling. As I said I was very unhappy with my stay and as I am assigned to this area for the next 12 weeks will definitely choose to stay elsewhere.
