Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Excellent Service This was my first time in Alexandria. This hotel was wonderful. The service was outstanding. I get cold at night. I left a note for housekeeping - 2 extra big down comforters were brought to my room. The staff in the restaurant @ breakfast remembered the extras that I like with my eggs and brought them to me without asking after the first day. May 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location. Attended a business meeting within walking distance of the hotel. I ate several meals at the restaurant and frequented the bar area. The room was neat and clean and the staff very friendly. The parking and internet connections were at no charge. It was a good stay and I would recommend this property to my acquaintances. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice hotel This is a great example of an older hotel that can be updated into a modern, and comfortable, facility. The bed was very comfortable, the room was extremely clean and updated. The bathroom was spotless and shower worked wonderfully. Airport shuttle operated on time and with courteous staff. Fitness center had basic equipment, but was in good condition with nice view of the pool. May 7, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by My Stay After Moving Day We chose this hotel mainly because it is not only pet friendly, but CAT friendly. We stayed here the day before traveling up to Boston for our move, and the place overall seemed in a good neighborhood and pretty decent. The price for the pet deposit seemed reasonable, and the room itself was clean and comfortable for us. Our cat could sense the other pet odors from the previous tenents, so if you have a sensitive critter, just be aware of that (ours gets extra cranky and meowey when they sense other animals). The staff was great, treated us with kindness and was very clear and polite about everything. We ordered room service and it was fast and really good. We had thought about ordering outside take out, but the cost was about the same - and we were glad we did it. Overall, if your a pet owner, and more specifically a cat owner, this is one of the few places available, and one of the best places we have stayed in in a long time. *We accedently spilled some kitty litter in the bathroom and the staff was really great about being ok with that.
