It was plain that their goal was to make sure that we as their guests were happy and comfortable. The room was clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn is a good place to stay when visiting Allentown My husband and I came to downtown Allentown to check out the new restaurants that have recently open in the city. We came early so we could still go to dinner with friends. We decided to stay at Holiday Inn because it was conveniently located. Everything at the hotel was good. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast the next morning was very good. We did have a slight problem with an obnoxious guest but that is not the hotel's fault that some people like to get everything for free. April 20, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An unexpected gem! It's been years since I've stayed at a Holiday Inn, and this stay was arranged by my employer. I will be staying here 10 days each month for the next 5-6 months. First, the entire place is spotless, Public bathrooms, glistening clean and fresh-smelling. There was always someone cleaning the lobby, vacuuming the carpet, polishing the furniture and glass doors, etc. I mean, is there such a thing as TOO clean? They keep the property immaculate both night and day. Second, I'm used to staying at very high-end luxury hotels. This Holiday Inn staff was friendlier and more helpful than ANY expensive hotel I've stayed at. They are cheerful and always greeted me when I passed through the lobby. When I joked about the complimentary freshly-baked cookies always being gone by the time I returned after my work day, one of the staff members said she'd tuck a few of them away for me until I got back! Then there's the bar/lounge staff. Since it was my home away from home for more than two weeks, they got to know me and really took great care of me. Tyrell runs a great operation, and Brenda and Roseanna always remembered my preferred drink and were great with dinner service at the bar. I could have used my per diem to eat at a lot of other places, but these guys really made me feel at home so I ate most of my dinners there. The food was exceptional, and the value was excellent. Also, they have a modern, well-equipped and clean fitness room with a TV. No one likes being on the road and away from home a lot, but I'm actually looking forward to getting back to the Allentown Holiday Inn late this week for another two weeks. I really feel pampered there. Congratulations to this property's GM for providing a warm, welcoming stay for their guests! April 14, 2016
