Useful for meetings in the Bristol area but the location means that traffic can be an issue for people to get to it on time

As a Platinum Elite member I've stayed at many Holiday Inn's but I must recommend Bristol-Filton as one of the best I have experienced. The service of the staff is unsurpassed and a credit to IHG. The facilities and food were excellent, we particularly enjoyed relaxing in the health club pool watching the rabbits and squirrels in the garden through the window. And the Sunday Carvery topped off the weekend very nicely. We will definitely be staying here again.

We had a great time at this hotel. Room met our needs, clean and bed comfortable. Lovely breakfast and great service. Hotel has the added bonus of free parking and pool and was in a great location for us, being close to the UWE campus

Love the very clean and new bathroom and bedroom. Bed very comfortable and clean. Pool was lovely and opened late.
Great service and delicious food.
Breakfast was superb with ample servings of fresh fruit - lots of choice- and an amazing pancake machine that produced small plump flower-shaped pancakes 2 at a time!
Great little koi pond in the middle of the corridor with fountains too, a lovely touch.
Complimentary toothbrush and other toiletries.
Ample fluffy white towels

Yet another comfortable night, and the staff were as ever very friendly and efficient. The room service was fast and the food very good indeed.

This is a good functional chain hotel. You pretty much know what you are going to get. The hotel staff were notably professional and attentive.
I stayed during a November night which was exceptionally warm for the time of the year. Because it was autumn, the hotel had heating enabled, and not air conditioning, so the room was far too hot. Even with the heating off and the window open, it was not possible to cool the room sufficiently and so I slept poorly. The hotel really needs to allow the guest to decide whether they need heating or cooling, not enable it hotel wide.
