I had to spend the night in New York due to weather related flight cancellations. It was Super Bowl Sunday.
I was not a happy camper, to say the least.
To my surprise, I easily made a reservation using the IHG app on my phone, and was promptly picked up and checked in within minutes. Really!
I checked in, was warmly greeted, and watched Super Bowl 50 in the hotel's AMAZING sports bar.
If you think safety is an issue when staying in New York, especially at the airport, no need to worry. You need a room key to use the elevator. The hotel is also located in walking distance to N.Y. Mets Citifield. The room was immaculate and the restaurant adjacent to the bar was really good and a good value. The wifi and business center was awesome. Really more then I expected.
I left the next morning. The shuttle bus was frequent and timely. I was a happy camper again!

Overall very good experience. The hotel is in good shape, and the rooms are normal size for an airport hotel, but cleaner than I expected. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again the next time I need an LGA hotel.

We plan on stayin 5 additional days in MArch and then again in May. I have been staying there for the past 20 years and never a problem Food is great

This Holiday Inn in NYC has great offstreet parking, is extremely comfortable, the rooms are very clean, and updated, but best of all, the Staff is second to none.
Highly recommend it.

Caught in the great airline flight cancellations of 12/27/15. Happened late in the afternoon and couldn't book a flight out until late the next day. Contacted the Holiday Inn at LGA and they helped set us up for a relaxing evening before heading out the next day.

Allysam at the Front Desk was outstanding - went above and beyond her duties to make sure that my stay was
comfortable. The shuttle driver was also outstanding.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
I will stay again here next time I am flying into La Guardia Airport.
