Stayed here for business and it had everything I needed. Room was clean - restaurant was great, and I thought the Marco Pierre White New York theme worked really well.

Hardly any TV channels available - I would expect to be able to access freeview channels.

I stayed for a business trip. No acknowledgement of platinum status on the ihg rewards scheme. Never told me about anything at breakfast. I came back to reception to ask when breakfast was served. I tried to use the stairs but ended up in a locked area and a fire door. Went to breakfast. I was checked in and that's it. Found my own table. I couldn't even see where the breakfast buffet was! The room was nice I enjoyed my kit Kat. Disappointed not to have a dressing gown. Nice toiletries. I think my room was an upgrade but I think I booked that rather than given it through being premium. Checkout queue left me waiting ten mins before I was dealt with. Reception passed lots of pleasantries with the guy in front checking out and then allowed him to check his mate out who was behind me in the queue. I was ok with my stay. I think it would be different if I were here for leisure. I would be less tolerant.

Nice hotel, only stayed 1 night.
Didn't have breakfast or eat in restaurant.
rooms are modern and beds are comfortable.
layout of hotel is a bit dated with quite a long walk to some rooms.
I thought it was a bit expensive for 1 night with no breakfast.

Average room (even thought it was an 'Executive Room' - 208). The bathroom is tired and old fashioned, the room decor has seen better days, just plain and, well, average!
The 'Marco' experience is nothing to write home about either. Usual Italian food.
However, the staff at this hotel are brilliant. The best service I have ever received in a mid-range hotel. Truly exceptional.

An overnight visit to break the journey which resulted in an extremely enjoyable and comfortable stay. Would do it again if need be.
