A remarkable HI. In all respects, it surpassed many Crowne Plaza in which I have stayed.
The appearance is impressive, the suites excellent, and the dinner buffets outstanding. Add to this attentive staff, everything one would wish to make a stay pleasant, and to return. The restaurant staff, with whom I had most contact, were exceptionally attentive.

I was very satisfied on how I was being assisted by your Reservations Team while doing the booking. Kudos to the Reservations Team!
As soon as I checked-in, customer service drops down because staffs are not being friendly and accommodating. Guests should be treated equally not based on where they come from or their origin.
But over-all, I like the hotel interiors and free airport pick-up and drop-off. Especially with the part wherein Holiday Inn can assist guests with regards to their visa requirements going to Kuwait. I would still recommend this hotel but they have to train some of their staffs in Customer Service.

I was pretty amazed on how I was being handled by your Reservations Team from the initial booking inquiry until the day of our flight. Kudos to the Reservations Team.
Apparently, customer service went down as soon as we checked-in. Staff's are not that friendly and accommodating, particularly the girl who are at the receiving area on Downtown Restaurant as well as the two ladies at the Reception Area.
In addition, while we are waiting for our taxi after we checked out to tour the city first before we head to our flight, a staff from the hotel offered some snacks to the other guests who just check-out while us on the other hand was being treated as if we never existed.
Checking-in in a hotel should give comfort to the guests. They should feel relaxed and safe, not feeling pre-judged or anything, or feeling monitored as if we are some kind of a bad person. It doesn't matter where the guests came from or the origin of the guests. Guests should be treated equally.

Satisfactory Service levels, however as compared to my past visits the service levels keep dropping. This is in comparison to my stay during 2014 and early 2015 where the service levels were exceptional.

Accueil impeccable, chambres spacieuses et confortables et niveau de service global très satisfaisant. L'hôtel est bien situé, près de la corniche et de quelques restaurants et centres commerciaux.

Recommended ! .. I had a relaxing 10 days stay at this hotel. Certainly one of the top quality / valued hotels in Kuwait. Just wish the car park was shaded and a bit closer. Otherwise, its a relaxing and nicely located place to stay at. Cheers.
