This hotel was recommended by the Wedding Venue we were attending. On night 1 we had an issue with our door key which resulted in us having to move room after dinner....the new room was not as expected; found a dirty pillow case down side of furniture, no water / chocolate (executive room booked) and a single dressing gown. There were no additional pillows as intimated in hotel guide, and the bathroom was not as clean as it could have been.
Breakfast could best be described as "look warm", and on day 1 there was no Orange Juice available. Believe it or not, the key to our new room was only activated for 1 night, therefore after returning from the wedding we had to go back to Reception from our room to get this sorted.
The positive from this stay was that Dinner is excellent, good choice and quality good.
On check out, I don't believe I was even asked how my stay was.....not a great way to end a disappointing stay.

A pleasant hotel for a business stay, standard Holiday Inn which is satisfying for myself. Only floors were the bedroom TV had no service on most of the channels, Dinner was average, breakfast slightly below average. But on the whole would return to this hotel next time Im in the area on business.

Used the Holiday Inn Leamington Spa hotel few times in 2014, overall the experience was good, room a bit tired but not too much to put me off.
The last time I attempted to book this hotel via my company travel tools, the system crashed and I was unable to complete the reservation. On the 2nd attempt the hotel was no longer available and I reserved a different Holiday Inn nearby. This was a very late booking, only completed at 17:30 on the day of travel.
Couple weeks later I was charged by the Holiday Inn Leamington Spa for a no show. Contacted hotel and explained the issue by they refused to issue a refund. Apparently cancellation policy on that day was before 18:00.
Contacted IHG customer service and asked for assistance. They acknowledged there was a technical issue but were unable to help. Not a good customer care when you need it!
If in the area, also consider the Stratford Upon Avon Holiday Inn or the Kenilworth Holiday Inn, they both offer an excellent customer service, recognize value of an IHG Reword Club Member and as value for money offer a very good room experience.
As for me, I know joined a competitor reword scheme and unfortunately missing out on what was overall a good quality service provided by IHG.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
hotel can be a bit busy with corporate conferences etc. but it was never intrusive.
Heating in room was a little tricky to get right balance and some of the tv channels were pixelated. Did have to ask for internet access despite paying top rate for the rooms. But then it did work without hitch.
