Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tobermory Doubles that are more like Singles
Most of my stay here is good but if you are unfortunate enought to get a double room in the inside atrium, they are very small. The rooms are really single. They cram a double bed into the room so there is no space for your suitcase or to move around!

Instructions on how to get to the hotel by train were misleading. It said you could get off at Hatton Cross or Terminals 1, 2 and 3, but the instructions were actually only from the Terminals stop on the Underground. Fortunately we got advice from a taxi driver on how to get to the hotel. We had to get a bus, which was free, and the hotel seemed a very long way away from Hattan Cross station. On arrival check in was quick, but the room was a little disappointing because it was so very small. Double bed seemed very small too. However we did sleep OK. We were going to use the shuttle bus to get to Terminal 3 the next morning at £4.50 each, but were advised to get a taxi, by the hotel staff, which would cost £10. This did prove to be the best move but was quite expensive when adding in the cost of the hotel plus travel to get there too. I would still recommend it for relative convenience but it's worth knowing what the actual costs are.

First time staying at this hotel, the staff were extremely helpful, the food and snacks laid on for the coarse were enough to keep you going, The bed and room were always clean and tidy and able to relax in.

Overall good but if you get a room in the inner atrium, the rooms are tiny. They are single rooms, not double so you have no space to put your suitcase or change. The double bed takes up all the room.

Ariel is well located, close to the airport, and at the edge of the Heathrow Go-Zone. The rooms are small, but comfortable. All the staff I encountered this visit were genuinely friendly.

This hotel is great for heathrow. I booked 8 rooms and was clearly told on booking I would earn points on every room. This did not happen despite paying for every one of them. They attempted to make me feel better by making me "guest of the day" what that? Free drink? No 20% off at the bar. So I was able to buy a pint of lager for £3.60 instead of £4.
I asked why I couldn't earn points in my booked rooms. I was told that only people who stay in the rooms are entitled to earn points. After check in I contacted the desk to request that nobody in the other rooms should be allowed to access wifi on my credit card that was used to pay for the room. I was informed that there was no way this could be prevented. Despite me informing them that I did not authorise any wifi access on the room expenses I was told that they could still access it and I would be responsible for the payment. This seems strange that they have rules to prevent me from gaining point on rooms I am not staying in but they are perfectly happy to take more money from me despite me saying that I wouldn't allow it. I then had to go to each of the 8 rooms and politely ask them not to access wifi as it would cost me money. Slightly embarrassing I felt.
Room was small single but lovely bed. Quite and great location. Would stay again.

Stayed for one night, had a meal with friends in the restaurant and the food was truly excellent, as good as any top restaurant in London. Room was great too.
