It has taken me over an hour to complete, as it kept crashing continuously...very annoying, and in the future, I will avoid participating in this type of thing...! June 12, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient hotel with reasonable parking fee IHG only has a few hotels in the Long Beach area so I chose this based on proximity to downtown. It's really too far from the bay and downtown to walk and the surrounding area is not much to look at. There is a free shuttle which must be scheduled to use. The lobby is new and modern but the rooms were on the old side. The shower was difficult to use. The air conditioner was very loud. Parking was only $10 per night, reasonable for the area, even though in California with rare public transportation, parking should be free. I'd like to see Holiday Inn modernize as I prefer the Holiday Inn Express brand. May 25, 2016

They suggested great places to eat, were happy to provide transportation to nearby locations, and even allowed us to check in a little early when we arrived (tired from traveling). Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by so so experience The front desk personnel on the evening shift not very motivated. Was greeted rather curtly on arrival until she went into her computer and saw that I am Platinum. She warmed up slightly. Not enough to get a decent room. Was given the room in front of elevator and next to ice machine. Not my idea of a platinum upgrade. Every time I would enter or exit there would not be anybody behind front desk reception. maybe the hour of the day between 1 and 3 pm had something to do with that. Unremarkable room. was well kept by housekeeping. Welcome amenity points did not post to my account. Would think twice before returning. May 7, 2016
