The thing I like most of the hotel is, that if I have an issue and I bring it to the staff's attention, most often it is handled quickly and professionally. Overall my rate of the total experience is in the high 4 star range, but alas my opinion of the kitchen has been less than stelar. They have been actively "trying" to improve with new menu items and daily specials and the new pasta offerings, all really nice. But they just fall short of quality at a high standard if special requests for cooking can not be honoured by the kitchen. So while I will give them praise for effort, they get an average marking for performance.
The typical business person who is traveling and stays a few nights will find the hotel very agreeable in all areas. Glad to see the front desk candy bowl is full again. . . .

Accommodated us perfectly as per our requests ... with adjoining rooms and early so we could ready ourselves for our son's wedding.
Post wedding party in our room was also a success ... due to amenities provided and space in the suite.

My wife and I came in late at night without a reservation. As soon as I gave my IHG number, the manager knocked our price down significantly. Magdy was very accommodating and professional. We were ver y impressed with how nice the lobby was and high quality of room. Everything appeared to be new.

Overall the rooms are clean and meet my expectation. However the A/C are not working in both rooms we stayed. Called front desk and they fixed immediately. Swimming is filthy with hairs and debris. Need more work done. We stayed in the rooms facing the highway. It is noisy. However the hotel did provide ear-plug but not very helpful. Make sure you get room facing away from highway. The bed is awful. With the noise and lousy bed, I didn't get the quality rest I needed during the stay.

I've stayed at 4 or 5 star Intercontinental hotels and I've stayed at 2 or 3 star Holiday Inns. This is the first time I've stayed at a Holiday Inn that seemed to be struggling to move up the scale to a 4. Overall my stay was a good experience, if a little pricey. But then I wasn't expecting a suite the size of an apartment with a 5 star bed, 2 TVs, a huge fully tiled bathroom with double sinks and a jacuzzi tub. On the other hand, the bathroom was dark as was the rest of the "rooms" when it was dark. The TV remotes seems to have weak batteries, some privacy doors to the "bedroom" wouldn't close properly because the desk was too big and in the way, there were minimal amenities in the room and they could have had complimentary coffee in the lobby as did the downscaled IHG hotel in Manassas where I stayed recently. As I implied, the potential was there to be a 4 star, but certain details were lacking. Still, overall, the room was comfortable and the food was good so it served its purpose.
