Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A hotel brand you can depend on When we travel for leisure, we don't stay in fancy hotels but we do want good quality hotels similar to what we accustom to in the U.S. Holiday Inn is a brand that we trust and this Munich City Center hotel actually exceeded our expectation. The front desk staff at check in was all smiles and very welcoming. They are very willing to offer advice about where to visit and what type of food to try. We have a good time interacting with the front desk staff. This is a busy hotel with a lot of group touring guests coming and going. So, the best time to interact with the front desk staff is when they are not busy with guests checking out or checking in. I think the best time is right after lunch. Location of the hotel is great and at the ground level there are shops, grocery store and access to the subway. May 30, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place, disappointed in Administration Errors I booked the room on Reward points and when I checked in I asked to book a second night. They did accommodate me, the hotel was very nice and then it began. On the morning of the second night, one of the cleaners knocked on the door and immediately came in while I was sleeping. I asked them to leave and 5 minutes later it happened again, and a 3rd time 10 minutes later. Yes, I should have used the dead bolt, but I did not. The 4th time this happened, I did have the deadbolt on, and the cleaner attempted to get in for 2 minutes. Not a good start as this started at 8:30 AM and I was sleeping. I got ready and went to check out. At the check out, it took approximately 25 minutes to figure out the bill and issue with the cleaner. They offered 300 points for the hassle and I accepted. Then they said have a good day. I inquired about the bill and they informed me it was all good and covered. I should have walked away, but I wanted to make sure the cost of the second night was put on my Euro Bank account. At this point, they informed me that they had cancelled my second night stay on the computer the night before and hence the issue for the cleaner issues. Then they informed me they did not know the room rate, but they would figured it out. They finally figured the rate and charged me, which I expected and was fine with. At the time, I was very satisfied with the accommodations, and a little frustrated with the administration, but an overall nice hotel. Now today, I went to write my review and realized that my account shows two nights on my reward points and only gave me 250pts for my hassles when they told me 300pts. I am very frustrated at this time. May 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel in the centre of Munich Fast and efficient front desk. Very friendly staff. Great room (even though the view wasn't fantastic) but I don't go to hotels for the view.... Nice, varied breakfast, with fresh produce being put out all the time. Omelettes and eggs made to order is a nice touch. Can be busy so take note of the smiley faces in the lift stating breakfast times, they are accurate. Check out quick, accurate and again very friendly, even though it was really busy. Recommend if you're looking to stay in Munich for business or pleasure. May 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Komfortables Bett und TOPlage Wir waren mit dem Zimmer sehr zufrieden: Ausstattung, Matratzen wesentlich angenehmer als in anderen Hotelketten (nich so hart !), die Möglichkeit, die erste Tasse Kaffee/Tee im Zimmer einzunehmen, tolle Aussicht auf die Stadt. Bei der telefonischen Buchung vermisste ich eine genauere Kenntnis der unmittelbaren Umgebung des Hotels. Fazit: empfehlenswertes Haus ! May 19, 2015
