This room was much better than the room I had there last week the only other problem I had was some black long straight hairs was in the bathroom floor in two different places by the shower one closer to the toilet the other by the wall and shower door I complained to management upon checking out and I did not even get an apology and they also over charged me for my meal and drinks but it was because they put $50. on hold and then charged me the original bill of $92. but never release the fifty dollars they had on hold and it still has not been released to my debit/ credit card bank 3 days later. 02 March 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay Great stay probably one of the best holiday inns we've stayed at in nyc. Front desk staff were so pleasant! Had room with great view!! Vallet men so nice consiegier was so helpful. I don't know if attached restaurant is seperate owner or if part of hotel. That is the only thing that needs some improvement. New Bartenders should ask how to make a drink if they don't know what's in it not just wing it. The menu needs more than Sysco fried foods. Menu very unapealing for NYC restaurants. Lastly the chef shouldn't be sitting at a bar table watching customers walk in and out. So hotel awesome Restaurant not so much 26 February 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent location & cozy in NYC winter Hotel was cozy in NYC's coldest winter. Location is excellent, subway is just 2 blocks away (28th St). Room was immaculate. Concierge is a marvel - kept a busy lobby well organized and was very helpful. 25 February 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay I stay here frequently. It is a great, clean hotel in a great location. Excellent happy hour at the in-hotel restaurant. Beds are comfortable and showers have great water pressure. Definitely recommend this hotel. The only nit-pick I have is wishing there were more elevators. That is just nit-picking though. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lack of customer service Was promised a microwave upon registering - stressed that point. Hotel does not even provide microwaves. Staff was unhelpful and phone customer service was worse - bad attitude, no interest in providing service, and basically left me on hold for OVER 30 MINUTES until line disconnected. Front staff desk person was rude and unwilling to accommodate needs in any way. Towels had a weird nasty smell. Bed made weird thonking noises when you moved across it. Walls are very thin. Heat made room either too hot or not warm enough. Had to alternate between turning off getting cold then turning on then off again when it got too hot. Restaurant staff - went to dine in was left ignored for too long so left. 23 February 2015
