I really loved this hotel... until I needed an electrical outlet for my non-British hair appliance, my laptop, or I needed to charge my phone. All of the outlets are the three-pin British type, and there are no adapters available at the desk. Heck, I would have even bought one if there had been a hotel store. The staff was kind and apologetic, but that didn't actually solve the problem. In addition, there was only ONE USB port in the whole room, and it's in the back of the TV. If that weren't inconvenient enough, the TV has to be on in order for the USB port to work. So you either have to charge up in the lobby sitting area (I assume there were adequate facilities for this in the business center, but I didn't look.), or leave the TV on all night so that your phone will be charged in the A.M. I shouldn't have to leave my room for these basics. This is my only complaint with this hotel, and if I were to travel through here again (pretty likely) I would book again... but bring my own adapter which would include a couple of USB ports. Live and learn, right?

This is a good quality hotel, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff welcoming and helpful. The restaurant menu is somewhat limited but the quality of the food is OK.
I will certainly stay here again when I next fly from terminal 5 at heathrow.

We booked this hotel last minute knowing our flight home from holiday was going to be delayed. All we wanted was a clean bed and some decent food - we got the bed but the food left a lot to be desired.
I think this hotel relies on the fact it is close to the airport and is unlikely to have guests staying more than one night.
Not up to the usual Holiday Inn standard and perhaps would be better advertised as a Holiday Inn Express
