Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Comfortable bed and great service
This Holiday Inn in Stratford on Avon is ideally situated next to the town, and a short walk from the RSC Theatre, it overlooks the river as well.
It could not be better for a visit to Shakespear's birthplace.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Piglet31 Lovely well located hotel
I stayed in a twin room with my mum for a Christmas shopping weekend. The hotel was ideal with loads of parking, lovely reception and public areas which had been beautifully decorated for Christmas.
On the edge of the town centre close by the shops, a few nice pubs for lunch and a bottle of wine to aid shopping!
We ate out both nights at local restaurants which were also of a good standard. But his leads me to one thing that could be improved upon, we ate at the Marina cafe which is right next to the hotel, the exit from hotel on the side of the Marina is pitch black at night which made it rather hazardous to walk. I tripped over something, no idea what, as it was so dark. That hotel exit would benefit from a few lights at the other side of the hedge to light the path.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TISHABOO Close to Stratfords history
Able to walk into town and see all Stratford's history.
A very comfortable hotel with pleasant staff.
I Found the hotel too warm for myself personally and unable to open window (screwed down) for fresh air at night.

Impressive hotel. The Dinner Menu was very good and the staff went out of their way to help-despite a Jazz Festival being on at the same time and using the Restaurant.
There was some noise from air conditioning appliances outside our room, we will try to get away from them on another visit.
Unable to obtain subtitles on the TV.
Access to Wi-Fi refused when I used the G Mail address that we used for booking. Had to move to another e mail address before access was provided
We will definitely go back. Please add me to the Mailing List for offers and events..

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by radkraw lovely stay
this hotel has clean lines and a shiny, happy welcoming reception. The staff could not be more helpful -our room had not correct beds as booked but they soon sorted it out. The receptionist was informative about the play we had booked to see at The Swan theatre and everywhere you walk the concierge team are so friendly. The breakfast is excellent and the bar is comfortable and attractive.
Our only niggle was that the room lights cannot be raised beyond a very dim level -maybe for green reasons - and this is a bit depressing and difficult to apply make up by. The brown colour in all the Holiday Inn bedrooms is not attractive to my mind but guess that is a personal view and this is a hotel I will stay at again and again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GBJONW Great Deal
Tried for the first time the dinner and breakfast deal available with booking a room. For dinner, this gives you a monetary allowance that can be used at any of the dinning options available. This combined with an excellent choice of breakfast food/drink and a good quality room, makes this a very good deal. The hotel was airy, modern and clean. Don't be put-off by the 1970's type exterior architecture.
