Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Very affordable rate for nice comfort. Lost hot water one morning during shower though, which was surprising (all other days had plenty of hot water). Slept easy because I wasn't facing street, though you can hear ppl talk in hallways too easily. Food was ok, but very expensive, (as room service usually is), but I was comfortable, and it was very clean. Nice staff. Wifi access was instantaneous. Great location and nice clean lobby. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Descent hotel, nothing fancy The hotel is clean, narrow corridors make moving with big suitcases on the room floors a bit annoying. I was mostly bothered by the wifi internet instability which did not allow me to work away from home as I needed. The breakfast buffet was average. The swimming pool was unfortunately closed, so I took my bathing suit with me for nothing. The hotel's position was quite good with direct access for walking in the center of the town and the subway. The staff's behaviour was polite and nice. Overally I would recommend it mostly for its position in the city, but would advise to keep low expectations. June 29, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Value We were disappointed from the moment we arrived. The pool was not open for starters. The room itself was cramped for space. Despite booking months in advance, we were put in a room on the second floor where the noise from the street cars was a constant distraction. The hotel itself was at times stifling in terms of humidity. The reception on the television was intermittent on many channels. I can probably think of more, but overall, that will be my last visit to that particular hotel. June 26, 2015
