I arrived at noon, which is 3 hours earlier than normal check in. A room was available for me. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to several good restaurants. It's a major bus route and very close to the airport, which they provide shuttle service. Excellent choice. I would recommend it.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Okay but
Stayed on my way out travelling and on return. Booking was made in advance and the first night I was given access ability room. It had no work area and a shower that does not really work for a tall man. It was liveable but when I am payin 235.00 I shouldn't need to have these concerns. On my return I was give a room that joined with the one beside it.
Noise travels through theses doors and alarms went off at 3:00am. After that it was hair dryers and conversations. I was awake at 3 and up for the remainder. Restaraunt is good food and good service. All things consid red I will likely try a different hotel on my next trip. I'm an ihg rewards member so I like to get the points but I also would prefer better rooms.

The location is both a pro and a con; air traffic is somewhat disruptive for sleep. The gym and pool are fabulous amenities however the gym equipment is run down and the hot tub had bugs floating in it.

We made the decision to stay in the hotel so we could use the pool and hot tub unaware that it was under renovations. Staff did what they could to make us feel better about this. We could have stayed around the corner at a relatives for free.

We checked in at 1:30 a.m.The room heat was on high and the room was unbearable hot! We were to tired to call down to change rooms. after a long day of travel I wanted to take a quick shower. There was a used soap bar left in the shower from a previous guest! Again to tired to call the front but felt that if this was missed what else may have been missed in the cleaning of the room! Overall a very bad experience. This is the second Holiday Inn I will refuse to stay at again. Last year we had a number of problems with the Truro, NS holiday Inn. It would lead a person to believe Holiday Inn's basic standards have dropped considerable.

I generally stay here when travelling, always a quiet sleep. Ample parking. Tried the restaurant for the first time, food was very good.
Will use this hotel again.
