Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by unfriendly welcome at Anderson Holiday Inn We were favorably impressed with the appearance of the hotel and grounds as we pulled into the parking lot, but when we arrived in the lobby, the young woman who handled our check-in was barely civil. I noticed that we were not provided with the same check-in information given to the couple next to us. In short, the clerk appeared upset about something. In addition, when I asked if the materials from the conference were in the room, I was told that the material had been delivered (it was around 3 p.m.). They had not. When I returned to the lobby to let the front desk know that the materials were not in the room, the same desk clerk snapped that they were at that moment being processed. There was no explanation or apology provided for the earlier misinformation, just a curt reply. April 27, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect accommodations for last-minute trip We booked this stay due to a family member having a health emergency and being admitted to a nearby hospital. We reserved the room online and checked in five hours later. The front desk staff was attentive and helpful, especially when we needed to extend our stay by one additional night. The availability of the lobby cafe made our stay much easier, as we were not required to leave the premises to enjoy a meal. Every hotel staff member was pleasant and tried to accommodate our requests quickly. The room was clean and comfortable, with updated furnishings and plenty of outlets for charging electronics. This stay exceeded our expectations, and we will stay at Holiday Inn whenever possible in our future travels. April 6, 2016
