Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by the room was clean and comfy, but has noise problems we stayed in this hotel for 6 night. Overall, the hotel room was clean and comfy, but we had problems with all the noises, at the beginning, we were in room 1013, the noises came from 3 sources, first, was the early morning noises came from the planes flying pass, I guess the hotel is on the flying route of the nearby Ronald Reagan airport, second, the noises came from the fridge inside the room, when ever the compressor started, the noises were very loud in the middle of night, third one, is because our room was next to the elevator, the floor area adjacent to the elevator was tiled, no carpet, so whenever anything with wheels passed over the tiles, it made a loud noise, and it's unbelievably loud inside our room, the first night we were startled by this noise and didn't know where it came from. 3 nights later, we moved to room 1006, this room was much better in terms of noise. but the fridge noise was still the same. During our stay, my son had an incident, he spilled some pop in his bed, the housekeeping lady changed all the wet stuff for us, but there is one thing I want to point out, the mattress had two layers of protective sheets, the second layer was water prove, although it did not need to be changed, but I think at least some wipe disinfectant be used to wipe it clean before put on the new layers. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointing stay The front desk was very accommodating and friendly. we stayed on points and were given an upgrade. The rooms and the hotel itself are tired and outdated. The furnishings and decor in the rooms is dreary. There is a shortage of electrical outlets making it difficult to charge your electronics. We were told happy hour was going on in the bar. We went up looking forward to relaxing and having a cocktail after our trip. When we went up to the bar, no one was there. We walked around the restaurant and finally someone came out and waited on us. he said it wasn't happy hour, we could have a corona or a margarita. he was the most unpleasant person I have ever encountered in a hotel. I asked him a question and he counted his register before he answered me. I called the front desk when I got back to my room and received an apology. That was it. The location is handy to Arlington Cemetary and we were there for a funeral. March 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable bed, good service and good location Staff were very helpful and attentive. The executive room we booked was spacious, comfortable and clean with a very large and very comfortable bed. We were a little disappointed not to have a view of the Potomac/ Washington DC. Aircraft noise may be troublesome to some as the hotel is on the final approach to Ronald Reagan airport. I am an aviation enthusiast so it was a bonus for me. March 26, 2015
