But the best part about this hotel is that it is the most inviting, friendly and welcoming place we've ever stayed. The staff, from the front desk people to the people cleaning the rooms to the people in the restaurant were extra friendly and helpful. We felt like we were part of a very large family. The grounds are very pretty and everything, from the location to the food to the dog-walking trail, was very convenient. We live very far from this hotel, and I can genuinely say that, after two stays here, we feel like it is our home away from home. May 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My favorite HI ever I had traveled all day then conducted a 3 hour class. I arrived at the hotel around 9:30 and saw the wonderful patio outside. This was the first property I had stayed that had a bar and restaurant. I was thrilled! I went to the patio and there were not only tables but comfy outdoor couches. I chose one and the server that greeted me was really cute and attentive. She allowed me to relax while nicely informing me the kitchen would close in just a few minutes so I did need to order my food. I met another woman on the patio and we had a wonderful chat over a glass of wine. My room was like a soft and cozy cocoon. I hit the sack and slept like a log. This is my new Asheville hotel. We were disappointed in the menu and food at dinner in your restaurant, but breakfast was fine. Overall we had a very nice stay and would stay there again. May 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room This is my second stay at this Holiday Inn. My room was updated and clean. The staff was very friendly. The grounds are well kept and the flowers were gorgeous. The only complaint I have was the eggs were cold in the buffet but it was also later in the morning when I went down to eat. Everything else was fine with the food and my mom said the coffee was very good. May 11, 2015

The moment i arrived at this hotel, i knew that i was going to have a fantastic vacation. the front desk staff was amazing, friendly , and very helpful. The staff at Owls was really great! we got turned around in asheville and got back to hotel just as owls was closing down, and the staff was kind enough to ease our troubles and unwind. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job, i asked for an extra pillow and received it immediatley. we had such a pleasant experience , we discussed how great a time we were having as we relaxed by the pool-enjoying the view- and we realized this was the best experience we have ever had at a hotel. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Many Advantages This Holiday Inn offers some very nice perks...mostly in the vibe department. Tucked into a hillside, the rooms have great views of the mountains on one side, and a nice vantage of the woods on the other.The outdoor heated pool providdes a secluded respite (and guests can enjoy drinks and meals there). We don't have pets, but the place is very pet friendly, as evidenced by the number of people walking their dogs on the adjacent paths. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The free breakfast was ample and various. Altogether a terrific place to stay for couples and families. May 6, 2015
