Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by New, Clean and Comfortable It is apparent that this Holiday Inn is one of the newest hotels in the area. It exceeded my expectations in cleanliness, bright and safe atmosphere, and comfort of the rooms and beds. There were no smoky smells anywhere in the hotel and the room itself felt clean and well cared for. The amenities were also well cared for and in good condition. A feeling of safety is important to me while traveling and this hotel undoubtedly provided that. I will definitely return to this hotel on future trips and would highly recommend it for single travelers, couples, or families. It meets all requirements of a clean, safe, comfortable stay. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room Was not cleaned The hotel front desk staff was very nice. The room originally appeared to be clean. Well later on my wife pointed out under the sink counter in the bathroom, very dirty. There was trash and even a Q-Tip on the floor. When I took a shower, there was a long strand of hair in the shower. Wasnt from my wife or me. Room should have been cleaned more thorough. May 7, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Out of State traveler The Hotel is in a nice convenient location, and the front staff was very polite. The parking lot had security patrolling the area, which made us feel more comfortable leaving some additional luggage in the vehicle. The room was comfortable, but the A/C controllers can be tricky, and will turn off with out notifying you. This left the room hot and humid during the night. The breakfast and service was horrible!!!!!! No food was out in the buffet area, nor any coffee or other beverages. We had to walk around and pour our on drinks. The food that was out was dry and tasted terrible. Could not eat it, and actually made us a little sick. May 4, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A good place to stay in Baton Rouge We had to make several trips recently to Baton Rouge for medical reasons. This hotel is VERY convenient to doctor offices and surgery clinics/hospitals. It is also surrounded by shopping and pharmacies if you need to run out and pick up something. They have a top notch, 5 Star staff. They are very professional, welcoming & helpful. We would like to highlight Ross at the front desk. He really steps up and helps with reservations and local info/directions. The restaurant staff is super friendly. Don't miss their gumbo! Our only negative is housekeeping. While the overall cleanliness is very good; attention to detail in the rooms is a bit lacking and could be more thorough. April 23, 2015
