Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Forced to check out early I was staying at the Holiday Inn on Macleod Trail South to attend training that was being hosted by the hotel. I have a medical condition that requires a specific diet, so I purchase a lot of food and keep it in my hotel room fridge. On the last day of training, I left my food in the fridge so that it would stay cold until our morning break. When I returned to the room at 9:45 the cleaning staff had replaced my bedding and thrown all of my food in the garbage. Because check out wasn't until noon, I assumed my food would be safe until I checked out. It was disappointing that the cleaning staff went into my room over 2 hours prior to checkout and threw out my food. It was further disappointing when I reported it to the front desk and they did nothing to rectify the problem. The only compensation I was offered was IHG rewards points that I never received. The printers are of very poor quality and only print one copy at a time. Every other hotel I've stayed at have at least one colour printer and offer 11 x 17 printing upon request. In the evening when trying to sleep there was a deep, low machine/motor type noise coming from the floor below. It really disturbed my sleep. May 16, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff and comfortable beds Front desk staff greeted us as returning guests and were most helpful. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Had a fridge, coffee and microwave in the room. Housekeeping staff friendly and always greeted you when you were in the hallways. Handy to the Saddle Dome and downtown. Highly recommended.
