Loved the location, close to King Street and many of the historic places. Staff was very helpful and provided fabulous customer service. Suite room was nice, big and spread out. We enjoyed our time here.

The location of the hotel was perfect. To get to the hotel from the airport, we took the Dash express 4 bus to the visitor center. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the visitor center bus hub. $3.00 each way, nothing can beat that~
From the hotel we were able to walk to everywhere we needed around Downtown. Everything is basically within a 1.5 mile radius from the hotel. We were able to walk to restaurants like: Leon's, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Hominy Grill, Magnolia's, and Lowercountry Bistro. All the downtown attractions are also within walking distance.
There isn't a close CVS or Walgreens, but we managed to walk to the CVS by the college every night to pick up some reasonable price snacks.
The hotel staffs were friendly when we checked in. The room we were given was near the elevator but not much noise was heard. It has a mini fridge which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was adequate with great water pressure. The WiFi worked just fine at a good speed.
Overall a good stay here and we will be back if we ever make it back down south again.

The Holiday Inn in downtown Charleston, South Carolina is easy to find and close to the historical downtown area. We walked to restaurants downtown even though the weather was cool during our stay.
The hotel staff including the valet service was excellent and very helpful throughout our stay.
We did not eat in the hotel restaurant but it appeared to be neat and clean and the menu was representative of Charleston cuisine.
The price for a stay at the hotel was better than other hotels in the area and the quality was excellent. I'm sure the quality of our stay was equal to the more expensive hotels in the downtown area.
