Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not Overly Impressed First, I would like to commend the restaurant staff and the front desk staff. They were great. The view was great. However, for the cost of this hotel, I would expected more updated room decor, less peeling wall paper, and less adjoining rooms. I don't know if it just so happened that BOTH rooms we stayed in over the weekend were adjoining, or if they all are, but they are not my favorite. The keys to the rooms or the doors themselves took several times to swipe and push for the door to open. It's also a very loud hotel. All of the outside noise sounded like it was coming through our room or at least much closer than the 12 floors down that it was. I also wished you could actually enjoy the balconies. It was kind of a tease to even have them if we can't walk out onto them. February 25, 2015

I can't say enough about the bed that rivals those super expensive hotel. This was a good value for my money, and offered a great view. I will definitely stay here again in 6 months. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Service The staff was very welcoming upon our arrival. The room was clean, quiet & well stocked with towels. We ordered room service the first night, which was delivered promptly, food was good and kept warm. We ended up going to the restaurant in the morning for the breakfast buffet & had a great view of the river/harbor from our table. We will definitely go back to this hotel when we visit Charleston again! February 12, 2015
