Very friendly staff. Breakfast was good and lots of choices. Clean rooms and beds were comfortable. Internet service was great and location was good - close to the mall and lots of restaurants.

We always stay here when we visit our granddaughter at Virginia Tech. The access from the freeway is easy. The hotel has very good food and if you want variety there are several restaurant choices close to the hotel. It is also located close to shopping.

Service and food was lacking. What more can I say. I was very surprised that Holiday Inn wasn't doing better. I usually like every aspect of Holiday Inn.

We had originally booked a reservation with the rest of our group in the area, and after a TERRIBLE experience at that hotel, we decided to leave the group and go somewhere we knew would be a "home away from home". We will never make the mistake again of staying somewhere "questionable". Holiday Inn always provides a calm, comfortable stay.

Breakfast food was great, check in and staff were great. Shower flow was restricted too much so that volume of water was minimal and did not provide a refreshing, quick shower.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Nice Hotel and Helpful Staff
This is the second time we stayed at this Holiday Inn. It was clean. The staff was courteous, helpful and professional.
When we encountered a problem with noise coming from the people and children in the next room (they were really raising heck!), we called the front desk where Sarah handled the situation in a very professional way. When the noisy neighbors didn't stop making a lot of noise, Sarah moved us to a new room.
This is a very nice hotel and the noise was NOT the hotel's fault. There are parents who don't teach their kids how to behave and that was the case here.
The only other problem we had was that I left my iPod behind in the room when we checked out. I didn't realize it until I got home. I called the hotel and they checked for my iPod and then called me back to tell me that it had not turned up. That was disappointing.
I still like this hotel and will stay there again in the future.
