Room lighting so poor we needed to use a flashlight to adjust the thermostat. Reading was virtually impossible. Inadequate number of cups for coffee service. AAA rate quoted at time of reservation was not honored. Have had better experiences for lower rates with other chains. However, location was very good for our purposes.

Please see previous comments regarding reservations. We reserved two rooms w/two beds each next to each other months in advance of our arrival and received confirmation of our request. When we arrived, on time, only one room w/two beds was available. Eventually, when the manager got involved, they were finally able to located another room w/two beds, but 3 floors away. Their explanation amounted to "first come, first serve" because the hotel was full for two weddings. Our reservation request

It is always a pleasure to stay at the Hoilday Inn / Clinton,NJ. The hotel is comfortable, clean, safe and convenient. Christina at the front desk is the very best and sets the tone for every wonderful stay in this hotel. She is a reflection of an overall exceptional staff. I always have a great experience from check-in to check-out. Denis in the dining room goes out of his way to make a great dining experience. He gives the service of a 5 star restaurant. Ask for him!!!
All considerations of guests' needs, comfort and security are covered perfectly from housekeeping to the bar. It is obvious that the hotel staff is happy and glad to be there. This is a well managed hotel.
I will go out of my way to stay at this hotel when I am anywhere near the area . . . you should as well.
