First off the restaurant was horrible. The food was very bad and the service was non-existent. We went to the restaurant for dinner and were the only people there (red flag) and then came again for breakfast and were 1 of 3 families there (another red flag). The only reason we ate there was because kids eat free and we have 3 kids. I wonder if their poor restaurant is a tactic to get people NOT to eat at the restaurant since they offer free kids meals? The rooms were very small and outdated and the AC did not work properly in our room. The bathroom was also very small and lacked enough towels. Overall this place needs a facelift and major overhaul, head to toe. The pool was nice and the kids had a lot of fun swimming. Unfortunately that was not enough to get us to come back.

Hotel was very close to the Cincinnati Reds ball park and there was a shuttle that stopped in front of the hotel. Eating places were nearby. Was somewhat surprised that there was no acknowledgement of me being an IHG platinum member

The shower curtain was stained and drain plug in the tub did not work. the grout was was stained, either mold or just dirty.
When our room was made up the coffee and cups were not replaced.
We had stayed at this property ten years ago and our room did not appear to have any updates.
For the condition of this property it was highly overpriced.

This was my first experience with this hotel and I have to say that my first impression was very positive. The staff at the front desk were prepared, pleasant and immediately recognized my Spire Elite status. The answered questions efficiently and made certain that we were knowledgeable of the amenities at the facility and the shuttle that was available to get to the ballpark. We had a very enjoyable stay with the exception of the restaurant. When arriving for breakfast, we were not greeted nor shown to a table. Once we located a clean table, the wait staff were distant and really didn't seem very interested in taking our order. Coffee was brought to us in a paper cup even though there were mugs on the table to be used. The buffet area needed some housekeeping as well and we had to ask twice for bowls to be brought out. Neither of the two ladies working in the area were very efficient. If it hadn't been that we had a complimentary breakfast, I doubt if we would have stayed. This being the only area of concern, I would stay at this location in the future.

It was a friendly staff and clean hotel. It is old but was convenient to downtown for Baseball or Football.

My daughter and I stayed at the hotel for one night prior to a doctor's appointment and everything was fine including breakfast. My only regret is that I didn't bring my swim suit because the pool looked so inviting. I don't understand the negative reviews because our stay was great.

Everything was good at the hotel with the exception of interent connectivity of my phone. The staff was friendly and professional. My room was clean and comfortable. I have stayed at this hotel before and I will stay again when I have to be in the area.
