Worse experience EVER had to sleep in car with fiance on Valentine's Day/Mardi Gras weekend. Agent could NOT find our room reservations then had the NERVE to charge our credit card. Will NEVER EVER stay at Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express or Any affiliations AGAIN and will inform friends and relatives NOT to stay also. Will post, Tweet, Facebook and use ALL forms of social media to share our HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Experience!!!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 I had a blast at Mardi Gras - Thanks Holiday Inn Express!!
We had planned to go to Mardi Gras on the 12th, made a few mistakes in reserving a hotel room but were lucky enough to get on the phone and speak with a representative from Holiday Inn Express - he got us scheduled and reserved our rooms for the 13th and 14th ( what short notice!! A ). The mattresses are really firm, maybe a bit to firm, but that didn't matter as I was so tired from partying - I just passed out. All of the staff was extremely helpful, and really just helped show A quality for this location.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND BREAKFAST!
The food is the same that you'd get complimentary at any other express / cheaper stay hotel, but we left being charged $14 each for it - including coffee, even though there was free coffee, that was the same quality, sitting at the bar.
Overall I had a great experience, the "way to pricey for what I ate" breakfast did not at all impact my stay in a true negative way.
WAY TO GO HOLIDAY!

This was a very positive experience. The one drawback that we appreciate from most of the hotel chains is a complimentary breakfast and this Holiday Inn does not provide this feature. Probably we are just too cheap but something we appreciate before we start out the next day without paying a usually overpriced meal in a hotel resturant. Otherwise, everything was good.
