I was already a fan of Holiday Inn hotels, having stayed in one in New York six months ago, so I was delighted when my conference organisers had booked this one for this occasion. I was instantly comforted by the sight of the hotel as we approached it from the road, it felt like coming home. The interior lobby is spacious and well designed, will plenty of comfortable seating areas, and even a lovely fireplace providing a cosy nook in which to drink one of the lovely cups of coffee one can purchase at the nearby counter, and read, or chat with a companion. The elevators are conveniently situated just a few feet from the reception desk and exiting the elevators, the hallways are wide the carpeting deep and soft, allowing for quiet access to and from rooms especially with a wheeled suitcase. The guest room I had, was enormous, with two queen beds and a table and chairs in one corner, and a sideboard with four deep drawers for clothing, and plenty of room on the top for an ample flat screen TV, and other possessions as necessary. I was impressed by the number of electrical points in the room, although if I wanted to use my laptop on the table, I had to unplug the lamps to do so. The nearest point was behind the mattress on the bed. This proved safest to me, and I used the laptop on the bed whilst relaxing. There was a microwave, and coffee/tea making facilities, and an open closet, with clothes hangers, a table/dying rack/suitcase stand? together with an iron and ironing board! The en-suite bathroom, was slightly tight on space for two people, with an over bath shower and curtain, and two wash basins set in a beautiful surface, and very well decorated giving a feeling of luxury to the room. The facilities were very clean, and the wash basin unit contained extras such as tissues, bin liners, and shelves, as well as toilet tissue. Towels were provided for two people, and were changed upon request. I had chosen a room over the car parking area for quietness, but a friends room on the other side, effected a fantastic view of the Cascade mountains that was wonderful. Next time I visit I shall request a room with a view, lol. I loved my stay at the Holiday Inn Downtown Everett, and highly recommend it. All the staff I encountered were friendly, courteous and professional, and always extremely helpful. The wifi reception in the room and throughout the hotel, was excellent, and all in all, I couldn't have had a better stay. April 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Astrid Back in November 2015 when I made my reservation I found that IHG had really fouled up my initial sign up for the IHG Rewards program. Most all the information they had on my account was wrong. This was discovered when I talked to Astrid at your front desk on the phone that night. These errors were causing me problems with making the reservation and getting credit on the IHG Rewards program. With Astrid's help we got the problem resolved but it took two calls to IHG that night to get it done. I talked to Astrid TWICE that evening and she was very helpful. Astrid happened to be working the front desk when I checked in on April 4th. The Amazing thing to me was that Astrid remembered our conversations about my IHG problems with my miss spelled name, my old address and the incorrect phone number. She is a credit to your organization. I did tell her supervisor the evening of the 4th of April about all of her assistance so I hoped she passed it on. Jack. April 13, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Loud rooms Stayed here for business. Pool was clean, but the hot tub was worn and looked like mildew was growing. The rooms weren't quiet. I could hear doors slamming until midnight all 4 nights. Food was bland for the cost. April 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The people are wonderful! I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Not being a coffee drinker, I asked for and received plenty of tea for my in-room coffee maker. The microwave and fridge were great, and I did my water aerobics in the pool. The best part was the wonderful staff, everyone from the lady at the front desk to the woman who brought new towels at the pool. they took care of me very well, and I'd recommend this hotel to others.
