I enjoyed my stay, the staff were great. There was some noise during the day because they were renovating and upgrading the rooms but it was not a problem.

We were very surprised to see our room so large and with so little furniture in a very large room. The king size bed at one end with a sleep sofa at other that needed to be replaced. Had a small coffee table and one chair facing the tv in the middle of the room. This room could have been beautiful with a little extra effort and improved decor. The jacuzzi was in such a big area but not that large and with a very small bathroom. This is not what we expected from IHG.
The entire complex needs cosmetic work and it could be a great destination
The pool was great. Also as we went to our room we encountered an area where they were working with everything all over the floor including urinals. Closing this area off would be so much better for your guests. They don't want to see a mess before they get to their room.
It was an ok experience.

We stayed here for a quick get away and will be back this summer. The staff was very helpful and the room was very comfortable.

The beds at this hotel were so comfortable and my room was very dark at night which allowed me to stay well-rested. You could tell the rooms had recently been renovated which was nice and it was a short car ride to downtown Falmouth. The housekeeping staff was great and the Executive Housekeeper Suzanne was very friendly.

The a/c was very noisy. And it cycled on and off. Input from the thermostat did not do any good. Unit finally had to be unplugged so I could get a decent night's sleep.
Breakfast buffet was very poor. Tepid tea water. No toast with the eggs one day. No margarine or butter one day. Kiddie-style sugary dry cereal. No whole grains at all. Sullen and unhelpful waiter.

RESERVED ROOM CARDS GIVEN FOR OUR TWO NIGHTS HAD OTHER HOTEL GUEST IN THEM . NEW ROOM ASSIGNED AND CARDS PROVIDED WERE ALSO OCCUPIED BY OTHER GUESTS.
SIDE ENTRANCE DOOR ACCESS NOT FUNCTIONAL USING THE ROOM ACCESS CARDS.
BATHROOM DOOR LOCK MECHANISM NOT SECURE AND OPENED DURING USE AND WHEN LOCKED.
NEXT DAY ROOM ACCESS CARDS WERE DISABLED FOR REASON UNKNOWN.

The location is great being so close to Falmouth, Woods Hole and many amenities in the local area. The problems I encountered was the staff customer service. When I checked in, a water pipe had burst causing no water in the hotel which was completely understandable as things happen. However the gentleman who was trying to check me in seemed unable to help me without getting permission and help from his counterpart who was not friendly and dismissive. With a problem such as a pipe burst and a wait time of 45 minutes for a room, I would anticipate more courtesy and a friendlier welcome upon arriving at the hotel. They seemed very concerned with what they needed to do on their end but not the customer side. I also was unsatisfied that with the elevators, you need to request to be on a floor where you have elevator access which I did not see anywhere on the website or on the page I used to book my room. I had a heavy suitcase and when I encountered a staff member in the hallway as I was trying to find the elevator after going up two stairways, there response was that the elevator was down the hall but because of the room I was in, it would not help me and walked away. They did not ask to help with my luggage or see if there was anything I could do. I also saw this lack of customer service towards the elevators with a woman who was in a wheelchair and was also not informed.

My 93 year old Aunt was with us and she was reasonably comfortable. The lobby and restaurant we a considerable walk for her But the Staff was able to put us close to the elevator which did helped. Over all it was a pleasant stay.
