Very clean hotel, friendly staff. Arrived around 830pm and did have to wait for a front desk staff member to appear to check me in but once he did he was nice. Only other complaint would be the temperature of the hotel, not my room itself but the rest of the hotel was very hot/muggy for some reason. They were doing renovations at the time so maybe the AC wasn't working properly or something.

on arrival at the hotel a printed notice informed us that the hotel was under renovation and therefore there was no dining room..no breakfast .. no pool .. no Fitness centre.. as a IHG loyalty program member i would have preferred to have been given options of other IHG hotels in the area..seeing i had travelled for over 24 hours to Birmingham ..also the type of room I had booked was unavailable and the staff made no effort to find the one fore me..a friend offered to swop his room to accommodate me.. disappointing experience for the first time in a long time at IHG!

This property was under construction when I visited. There was no breakfast. I was not aware of this matter until I arrived. When I mentioned it to the lady at the front desk, she responded with an attitude, it was on the website. I also arrived at 3pm promptly and my room was not ready. I had to wait 17 minutes before I could go up. The customer service is not the best but the hotel is nice.

After my reservation was tampered with, I was upgraded which was very nice. Would have liked to been made aware no restaurant, bar or fitness room before arrival.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Middle aged Man Rude staff that doesn't care
I stayed one night during family travel and booked a suite as it fit my family size well. Upon arrival the front desk was rude as it seemed we were an inconvenience to her by interrupting her conversation with another employee/person that was probably more important. Once we arrived to our room we noticed that it was unlocked and the door was open. I did a quick search before letting my family enter and it was fine. It was late and we wanted to sleep, and noticed that the hide-a-bed was missing sheets. My wife called the front desk and was told to "come get them from the front desk". Nice customer service. After waking up in the morning I went to take a shower and noticed that there were no complimentary shampoo or conditioners provided. Not that big of a deal, but after how rude the front desk staff I wasn't about to call them and ask, as I probably would have been told to "come get them" again. Also, my kids were disappointed as the pool (and restaurant) was under construction and were not available. They didn't tell us this when we booked the hotel. I will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

Nestled in the very back of the business road behind a home depot is this quaint hotel that begs you to just coe stay a night! I really enjoyed my stay as I was there for busniess over nigt. Highly recommend this hotel. I drove in right off the streets literally and was able to get a room with quick and ease.

No soap and shampoo, trash left in room, bathroom sink clogged, dirty soap left in bathtub. After we found out the next morning that the room was supposed to be out of order, no offer was made by the front desk to either refund our money or make amends in any way. We have stayed at Holiday Inns before, and have never encountered anything like this!
