The best thing about my stay ... The staff actually cared whether I was comfortable. The room was clean! It was an easy place to work and I even got a couple of work outs in during my stay!

I was traveling to Sugarland with coworkers for the week, and we booked 4 separate rooms. Upon entering the hotel, we noticed a funny smell in the lobby. We checked in and it took us a while to get to the rooms because one of the two elevators was closed for "Upgrades" in the middle of some conference that had the hotel completely booked. After getting to the room which seemed nice enough, I tried to use the internet for a few minutes before going to dinner. It was so slow that I used the cell service on my phone.
We decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. The waitress was very pleasant, but the food took forever and then it all looked prepackaged. We were not expecting a fancy meal, but with the amount of time that took, we were expecting it to be a lot better than it was.
I woke up in the morning with my head completely stuffed up because something in the room caused my allergies to go crazy. I started getting ready and found that the tub/shower does not work at all.
With all of the problems that we had, we decided to switch hotels and checked out after one night instead of the original 4 nights. I explained at the front desk upon checkout all of the problems that I had with the room. The person that I spoke with sympathized and said she would talk to the manager about getting some of my room refunded for my trouble and points deposited into my account.
The points were deposited into my account, but no refund was ever issued.
Upon checking into the second hotel, the person checking us in told us that the hotel we had been in had flooded a few weeks ago. The cleanup was not completed and the flooding was not disclosed at check in, so we had no idea that we were checking into a place that most likely had a lot of mold.
While all of the staff was very nice, I would not recommend this hotel.
