Margie Palacio and her wonderful front desk staff were amazing. She and they were helpful, friendly, attentive and courteous even when they were extremely busy. Thanks you all!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by djmaus1 Close to Airport - Good for business travel
I chose this location because it was closest to JFK and has a 24/7 shuttle from/to airport. Because I travel a lot for business I often have to depend on the hotel restaurant for meals. My experience is that most Holiday Inn properties have a fairly decent restaurant, but the one at the JFK Holiday Inn is terrible.
When I choose to eat in my room it was delivered by very nice folks, but they appeared to come right out of the kitchen. The first night I couldn't eat my meal at all. The second night they managed to make a hamburger unpalatable. The restaurant itself is not a pleasant experience and service was poor.
The room was fine, but could use updating.

I went there from Boston to drop my family off who were taking a intercontinental morning flight ( journey time 26 hours) .For some official activities in the consulate I had to stay one night extra. My two nights were not the most pleasant. The Lobby of the hotel is very small and there is no cloak/luggage room - luggage left piled up in the lobby. Also my room was not at all noise resistant - and being in front of the elevator and ice-vender, could not sleep well at all with the noise coming from outside. Most of the front office staff were nice and helpful, but there was one lady who were not at all friendly, and was busy with her nails !!
this does not meet the Holiday Inn quality in terms of cleanliness either. Restaurant food was not great. I ordered a fish sandwich and it was very overcooked.
Overall not at all satisfied.
