Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient to interstate It is very hard to get into the hotel from the interstate. Had to go down a block and maneuver through one way streets to get back. Demo construction going on to adjacent hotel building. So not a favorable impression at first. But the young lady at check in was wonderful. She gave us a map of the downtown area and highlighted how to get to Market Square when I mentioned that per the internet there was to be jazz on the square that night. Her best friend's birthday was that day and loved jazz so she actually engaged in a conversation with us. Was on the street side so it was a little noisy with truck traffic late that night. Construction set off alarm in the morning so had to scramble to get out of room for a non-emergency. Thought breakfast in the dining room was a little pricey but it was good and waiter was nice. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible stay This was our second stay at this property - the first was great but the second was equally horrible. In their defense, UT had graduation going on but a property in a university town should be able to handle full occupancy. I was stunned by the panhandlers and homeless so close to the property. They did have a night time security guard but he appeared to stay at the front desk talking. Housekeeping failed to clean our room on Saturday so we returned Saturday night to the room smelling like our supper from Friday night and no towels. We informed the front desk and was provided with a complimentary breakfast, 1000 points promised to be added to our account and parking charges removed from our bill. I failed to mention that the property rented out their parking lot for $15 event parking that made the quest parking a royal pain in the rear end. They failed to great us at check in as IHG members so we were not offered amenity points or a care package. Only one night's parking fee was removed from our bill and we have yet to receive the 1000 complimentary points. We will find a new location for our next stay in Knoxville. May 19, 2016

Each stay I've been pleasantly greeted by friendly knowledgeable staff who go out of their way to assist in making my stay incredible. The facility is always very clean and welcoming with adequate parking. You will be very happy with your stay at this facility. May 17, 2016
