Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Stay 11/14/2015 The beds were comfortable however we ended up with 2 double beds (we are a full-size adult couple) instead of the requested king bed room. We had our dog with us and this hotel's policy is that we would receive a first floor room, as that's the designated area, and the two double bed room was all that was available (we were offered what amounted to $5 off our room rate). The room had some type of unsightly water or other damage to the wall area above the curtain, which were purple/brown spots over a large portion of the area between window and ceiling. The room smelled stale, unfresh - something like smoke, which would be surprising as it is a non-smoking hotel, but Im not really sure what the smell was. The pet fee was per pet per night, not a deposit, which, was not immediately apparent to us (did not have a check off or note or acknowledgement on the actual reservation form). However, at midnight or slightly later, driving from Rhode Island to Maryland for mom-in-law's funeral this could not be be a point of contention but was disappointing. The lobby was lovely and updated and both the night and morning staff were complimentary and friendly to my little Boston Terrier, and even to me though I was a bit testy about the beds, pet fee and being asked to initial some pet form as soon as i returned to the lobby from the car after registration, when my hands were full with my luggage and dog on a leash.
