Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good location This hotel is currently being refurbished which is long overdue. Unfortunately my room had not been refurbished and was tired and old, also not helped by the fact that the windows do not open so no fresh air. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful and overall it was a good experience. Would return if I was guaranteed a refurbished room. May 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable hotel in a great location I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in total in May and had an excellent stay. Only a 10-15 minute walk to Russell Square tube station so very handy for me to access Heathrow, Covent Garden and museums in South Kensington. The room and bathroom were very clean and stylish. Nice to have a fridge in the room. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay again. May 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel but pricey. Was surprised that a simple continental breakfast not included in price. A simple visitor map at reception would have been useful for info on local transport. As local connections to central London attractions are so good and easy. Stayed at an XXX in Prague recently and this was a routine service. May 21, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not the best, but ok. Fairly expensive for a Holiday Inn, but it is London (what do you expect). For the price, it would have been nice to include the Gym/Leisure facilities as well (though not a huge added cost). Again for the cost, rooms look quite old and slowly becoming outdated, but it looks like they may be slowly updating them (whole of the 3rd floor was being done) May 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really comfy and quiet hotel London-Kings Cross Bloomsbury is well located in London. Our room was super comfy, clean and well design, lot of room, all furnitures were in a good shape. The only bad thing that I found was that there is not a tube/metro station close to this hotel, so you have to walk around 10-15 minutes to the closest one. There are a couple of bus stations close to the hotel. May 18, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Staff Accomodating Good Hotel, will be better once refurbishments are finished. Staff were very helpful as daughter a wheelchair user and we were able to use service lift when the others malfunctioned. Yes, you pay for use of pool etc, this is stated on the website. May 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend Visit to London 6th~8th July, 2016. After a poor start, with a Room being marked clean, when it was still used and dirty, the Staff could not have done more to turn this disappointment around and did so with aplomb ! Many thanks to all the Staff we interacted with ~ You made it a really enjoyable stay. This is so rewarding as things do go wrong, however it's the way these unexpected problems are dealt with that make all the difference ! The Hotel was also under Refurbishment during our visit, but we were not inconvenienced in any way whatsoever, by these operations. It was a very good overall experience, apart from the initial disappointment and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Well done H/Inn-Kings Cross Bloomsbury. May 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Impressed We have stayed here several times before but this time was very disappointing. We are platinum members and that was not acknowledged on check in and wasn't offered the usual drink or points. We paid for an exec room but when we got to the room there wasn't the upgraded toiletries and no bathrobe neither. The bath had hairs from the previous person in the bath. The only positive about the stay was the bed was comfortable, however the road our room looked onto was extremely noisy and unfortunately it was in an area where the construction was taking place so we had no chance of having a lie in as the drilling woke us. Reception is where a restaurant used to be and the doors are wedged open allowing people to smoke in the entrance so smoke wafts in and it was very strong when we checked in and checked out. Upon check out we were not even asked how our stay was. I can't see us returning to this hotel any time soon. May 16, 2016
