The customer service was excellent from beginning to end! It started with the valet, the front desk, the people in the restaurant. VERY comfortable beds!

The staff makes this hotel a great place to stay. Everyone from the time we arrived with valet, to the desk check in, to maid service to bar/restaurant to check out was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. The staff definitely makes this hotel a place you want to stay every time you come to Memphis.

I arrived and was able to get checked in promptly. Once in my room i tried to get the ac to cool it down. It was bearable the first night but on 2nd night the hotel room was above 80 degrees. I called the front desk and found out that they had already moved my room for me, i just wasnt aware of it. The rest of my stay was perfect and minus the move was flawless. great location to restaurants and activities.

Reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but this does not compensate for the incredibly tired looking rooms. It appears that as one of the few business-class hotels in Memphis, the hotel rests on its laurels - charging in excess of some others for rooms that are extremely outdated and frankly nowhere near up to the standard the rate would suggest.

Stayed here for a work conference. The staff were great and the rooms dated but comfortable, this is an old hotel and only so much you can do. The conference room was very noisy do to the HVAC system but the room attendant took very good care of having the room stocked and clean. Great location only a couple blocks away from Beale St. and right across from the Peabody.

Rooms were nice and clean. Air conditioning was not working when we got to room. It took me 2 contacts with front desk to get someone to look at it and get it working. The toilet tank had a leak, which it kept 'refilling' and making noise all night. The waste line off of the sink leaked and made mess on floor underneath sink.
The bigger annoyance is that when we checked out, we wanted to put the full charge on different card than what was used to make reservation. Did not notice until later and called to tried to fix it. They refused to do it. I'd expect rewards members to be treated better and with more flexibility.
