the room was clean but the room key was not working the first few tries when trying to enter the room also the bed there was no comfort what so ever.

Too many issues

1-Cable issues reported 3 nights.
2 - Fridge did not work - had to throw away food. Replaced but no apologies.
3 - overcharged on original bill for room service. Wasted 20 min and refused order to get corrected. Made food less enjoyable although it tasted good.
4-A/C no low - ...freeze or no air.
5- Not advised of breakfast included and found out day of departure.
6 paid way too much for a 2.5 star that was more of a 2 star.
7. No one seemed to care about all the multiple issues or whether I came back. No one was rude just complacency regarding service or correcting service issues.

Hotel cómodo, no remodelado. Recomendable para una estadía corta de negocios o familiar. Deben mejorar la velocidad y capacidad de internet, pues la misma es muy pobre. Mejorar las instalaciones de la piscina, pues están un poco descuidadas.

Nice rooms and pool area

Great getaway hotel for business or leisure. However, they have a hard time keeping the pool area towels stocked appropriately.

Good choice

It was a comfortable room, quieter than I've experienced in Holiday Inns in the past. A very nice spacious pool except they did not bring out enough towels. Overall the facility was very nice except for the breakfast area. The woman in charge of keeping it supplied and clean was very rude and unpleasant and snapped at guests and at the workers. The food was bland and tasted like it had been there for too long. I couldn't eat the dried out French toast. Also, the layout made it very noisy.

Although it wasn't perfect, it was definitely worth the money and I would stay there again.

Comfortable, updated rooms

I had a comfortable, leisurely stay at this Holiday Inn. My room was very clean and updated, and I really liked that there was a rolling table under the desk, which meant more surface space without taking up more room space. The hotel restaurant was nice and convenient (although the Singapore meatballs appetizer was a disappointment - meatballs with Italian-style spices served in hoisin sauce was a strange combination). I also couldn't access the internet the morning of check-out, which was annoying. Minor annoyances, true, but otherwise, it was a lovely stay.

Not the greatest hotel

I stay at Holiday Inn express whenever I travel however I would not recommend the Parsippany location. The beds were awful and uncomfortable (at least in room 418) the rug felt as if someone or something was spilled all over it (I dont' really want to imagine what...) but it was crusty and not pleasant to walk on it barefoot. There was a a huge party happening the same weekend I was there so the halls and rooms were overrun with tons of people being loud, but that was fine really~ what are you going to do? Let them have their fun right?
My bigger concern was with the cleanliness or rather "age" of the furniture and rooms which just made everything seem dirty and uncomfortable.
This hotel has much smaller rooms than the newer HI's so there was no sitting area which is always a nice addition rather than just a room with a bed in it.
The restaurant attached to the hotel is probably not really associated with the hotel, but they are "Ok" a bit pricey and New York style wannabe's but not really pulling it off.
Anyway- there are better hotels in the same strip of highway for the same money- I would say to find another hotel

Breakfast is delicious but the staff should be a little courteous to the member guests for having breakfast if the guests is only 1 few minutes late.

I got in fairly late, but checkin was a breeze.
The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly! The overall cost was better than average, and I would recommend this hotel.
