Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by change of pace We have stayed @ this property @ least five previous times. This was the FIRST TIME that we were charged for parking, even though we had not been notified of change in policy. Since this makes a difference on our choice of facility, we would appreciate greater disclosure when rates are quoted. We were housed in a floor where a large wedding party was staying. The noise in the hallways, loud talking, door slamming went on until 3 an 4 a.m. BOTH nights of our stay. April 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and great service. We enjoyed our stay in pleasant room, on comfortable bed. The bath was clean with ample supply of toiletries and towels. We enjoyed the shuttle, without worries about driving at night and finding a parking place. I was a little surprised that there was an extra charge for parking the car. Also, that you are not responsible for damages to car. I guess I thought that the parking charge would be for some supervision of the garage.. April 15, 2015

The heater in the room sounded like a jet taking off in my room every time it went off. otherwise it was a nice stay. I would also have liked menus for local eateries and a bit more feedback from the staff as of where to eat. I was not aware. April 15, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely staff, poor infrastructure The staff is attentive and very sweet. Everything is clean as well. However, I personally had lots of trouble sleeping because I could hear tons of noise coming from the floor above as well as from outside. I'm not used to that with other Holiday Inns. April 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location-not so good room or service As a 20 year Priority Club/IHG member. I did not get the feeling that the hotel was very pleased with me using a free night on the evening that we stayed. I was not greeted as an IHG member and was not offered the complimentary water/drink ticket for the lounge or any other amenity. I asked and did receive a ticket for the lounge which the server never applied to the bill. The room was a bit dated, the furniture with many chips and scratches along with popcorn ceilings. I had to call the hotel to see if they had a king size bed for my wife and I as the website said they did not . I then had to contact IHG to get the King bed booked as the front desk still insisted they did not have any available. On the positive side...the maid service was very nice and the checkout was easy. People only need to feel a little attention and receive what was offered to them. This was not the case. April 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff excellent The staff always responded to an issue, be it relative to furniture, phone/tv, or other issues. Assists were done in a friendly and motivated manner and in one case, went well above, as I technically had checked out but, needed an assist with my vehicle nearby. My Service Dog was not only respected but, my special situation and physical needs. A special thank you to Juli who found me not well the morning of check out and addressed that. There is so much more I could say...best is...I would have loved to stay longer. I also wish I knew the name of the two staffers who helped me with the issue of pumping gas into my van. That is above and beyond and laudable for Holiday Inn!! Thank you!! April 8, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by brief and comfy stay in Portland, ME Had a very pleasant, convenient stay while in town to open an exhibition of maps at University of Southern Maine. Work and focus there meant comfort and convenience at HI was mist welcome, enhanced by courteous helpful efficient staff, from maid service to restaurant and lobby staff. Terrific. April 6, 2015
