Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay just a suggestion When checking in, it would be a good idea if the staff would tell you that you could and should make a reservation in the restaurant. Very busy. We were on a time frame for our hockey game next door. Many people waiting quite awhile. We did however make it in time because the service was fast with the food. Excellent waiter service. The bar needs a waitress. Not just two bartenders. Did not like having to stand and wait in line to order a drink at bar. February 8, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel staff Last week i stayed 1 night at this location. The lady at the front desk was very nice. The room i was in was very nice as well. It was really clean and nothing was out of place. While i was there I went to The Grille for dinner and cocktails. I was less than impressed with the service there. When i arrived there was 2 other customers at the bar. The bartender Andy took his time to serve me. I had to ask him twice for a menu. When my beer was empty he would just walk by. I had to ask him for another one. After my meal, which was really good. I waited about 10 minutes with an empty glass and my napkin on the plate for my bill. He spent more time hitting on the waitress then anything else. Next time my job brings me to Rapid City, I will be staying at your location but eating dinner elsewhere. January 21, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pay for parking? I've stayed here many times and always enjoy the rooms and atmosphere. It was a little noisy this time due to a soccer tournament going on in the civic center. I don't blame the motel for that and it did quiet down at bedtime. However, I don't recall ever paying for parking at this motel before and really wonder why now if ever. I can understand if there is a parking garage that competes with other businesses, but this is solely their parking lot! I especially believe Platinum members should get this waived from their bill.
