Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The night before our cruise We have stayed several times and it was good to see a revamp which has given the hotel a new lease of life. The room,staff and food were great and the hotel is perfect for Southampton Docks. From hotel to cabin in less than an hour. I don't think we will bother flying again. We are back in July and know we will enjoy our stay. May 17, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nostalgic Visit It is difficult to know where to start, but let us do it in chronological order. Having stayed at NINE different IHG hotels this year alone, all on leisure purposes, I know what to expect on check in. Being a Spire Elite member, I am accustomed to a Welcome Letter. This was not forthcoming. Nor was the thank you for being a IHG member. Only when I enquired, was I informed no complimenatry upgrade would be available, as on one of our three nights stay, the hotel was full. This was no hardship to us, but would receive the executive package, mineral water and chocolates in our room. This only happened on the first night. When it came to breakfast time, it was a nightmare. Some of the staff worked diligently and others were like headless chickens. For all three days, people were being informed, no tables were available. Not because they were occupied, they had not been cleared of dirty dishes. Being in senior management most of my working life with BASS, forerunner to IHG, I am aware table staff should never return to the kitchen empty handed. Only through necessity, I will be returning later this year to the hotel May 12, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stay and great convenience for cruise An excellent place to stay if you are cruising from Southampton. The parking arrangements are excellent as is the organisation for getting to and from the cruise terminal which is a 5 minute taxi ride away. Breakfast is good as are the bar meals. Have booked a further stay for my next cruise in a few weeks time. May 6, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and service I stayed in this hotel for one night due to a buiness trip. The hotel is located close to the harbour in a nice area with restaurants and bars. From the outside not looking brand new the lobby area was nice as was check in by the staff. My room was clean and tidy, but the interior was not the newest anymore. Breakfast was really excellent. If the offered 500 bonus points as welcome gift for a Spire member would have made it to my accout as well it would have been an excellent stay ... May 4, 2016
