Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by satisfactory stay We were told tables in Mile 277 could not be reserved, but to come early and we would have our choice of tables near the stage. We got there 3 hours before almost everybody else and were told all the tables were reserved--not good. Hotel prices around the entire country, including this Holiday Inn, need to come down. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice Hotel I was a little sceptical about this hotel at first, after some of the reviews that I read, however they were wrong. This hotel was very decent. It had all the amenities I was requesting. I am a platinum rewards member and my room was upgraded to a Parlor suite, which was a nice surprise, it was a larger room with a separate sleeping area. The only thing I did not like about it, was in the living area there were no windows. The bedroom had no one staying the first night, however the second night there were people in the next room and I could hear everything they were saying. I am glad I was a heavy sleeper that night, as I did not hear anything after I went to sleep. I used the fitness center and pool which were both awesome, the pool is a little small, but the hot tub was large enough for several people. The breakfast is not worth the $9.95 price tag, it is what you would find at a Holiday Inn Express free breakfast. I was fortunate to get the breakfast special room so it was included with the price of the hotel for a small fee. Overall I would rate this hotel as excellent, and would stay here again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff went above and beyond Upon arrival, we were informed that there were no king bedrooms left, even though that is what we reserved. The manager on duty found us a room, only to find that it was already occupied. The staff quickly remedied the issue and gave us a new room. We proceeded to our room only to find that they had given us a newly renovated suite that was absolutely fantastic. I wish I knew who was on duty the night of 3/14 because they need to be commended for the way the handled everything. Thank you to those 2 employees working the desk that night for handling the complication with absolute professionalism. March 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn, Route 66 - St Louis Wonderful hotel! Conveniently located with great dining options within walking distance, as well as on site. The attached bar / restaurant is biker themed but the staff is wonderful and very service oriented. The restaurant menu is outdated but the food is vfery good and reasonably priced. The rooms are comfortable and I had no problem falling and maintaining sleep. Very clean. I will definitely stay here evey trip to the St Louis area! March 10, 2015
