I am an average working class man from Virginia. I have been working in New York for a couple of weeks now in all 5 boroughs. When I arrived at first I rested here in Staten Island and it was great but as my work moved up higher and deeper into to the city I changed hotels to cut back on my commute. The first hotel I went to I was told I had to use the side entrance if I was there to work, I couldn't help but laugh. I said no I'm not here to work, then security stepped up and told me no loitering!!. I just thought to myself Staten Island has a much nicer greeting warm smiles along with customer appreciation and respect for the average Joe. Then I finally was able to check in and get to my to room and it was the size of a closet and the bathroom was a shoe box. I just told myself next time I will take the longer commute to get treated better, to have enough space to stretch my legs in my room. House keeping is good, the food at the restaurant keeps getting better and better, but the front desk is really doing a great job making everyone feel welcome, very professional and courteous
I still wish you were located a little farther north.
Staten Island I'm just your average Joe but you have made my stay very pleasant and I thank you for it. I will be joining you again some day

Two of the three times that I have stayed at the hotel on Staten Island, I returned to my room to find that it had not been serviced.
On both occasions I was gone from early morning till late night, on both occasions when I reported this to the front desk I was asked "if I had left a do not disturb sign on the door. ????? Why would I complain if that was the case. I am a Spire Elite member I have stayed in hotels before and understand how that works!!
I am very upset about this because I only use my hotel room to get a good refreshing nights sleep and shower. I expect nothing less than a freshly made bed and clean towels when I return from my busy day.
In my opinion I believe that I should be reimbursed the points that I used to secure the room for those nights.
I say that because the on duty clerk's solution was to send someone up with linen and towels. I had to make my own bed.
Other than that my stay was fine.
I would stay again.

The reason I would stay at this hotel again is definitely for the quality staff! The room, facility, restaurant were all terrific but the staff makes the hotel a home for travelers.
