Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great room, but no wifi Overall a very nice hotel, we could see they had been remodeling and had very clean public areas and our room was nice and clean. We stayed in a suite, as we were there for a girls' weekend of digital scrapbooking and wanted room to spread out our computers. The room included a dining table which was perfect for our needs. The unfortunate thing is the wifi did not work in our room, which was a fairly big inconvenience as much of our scrapbooking is done online. We did tell the front desk, but they simply asked to see one of our tablets that was having trouble connecting, and it connected fine in the lobby. The problem was in the ROOM, as we had told him. He interpreted it connecting in the lobby as "problem solved", though he said something about checking the router. It never did improve in the room. To be fair, after his initial response we didn't feel he was that concerned and did not go back to tell him it still wasn't fixed, so he may have been more accommodating, but his initial response gave the impression of "oh, too bad, whatever". Again, we still enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we're just passing through, or coming to Des Moines to go out and about, but maybe not if we are really needing internet access/ staying in the hotel all day.
