I like staying at this hotel as it is close to all amenities and close to sky train station.

There is a great view of the city from our room. The area has plenty of restaurants and shops.

Everything about this property is 5-star; not a thing to complain about but very much praise.
I normally stay at Crowne properties, but this one was a close second. Would do it again!

First time guest at this property. Reception was excellent and the staff were very helpful. Got me checked in super fast as I am sure they could tell I was very tired.
Room was clean and a good size - I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn while we were in Vancouver for appointments at the Eye Care Centre. The location for the VGH and the Eye Clinic were ideal (just a short walk away). From the front desk to the cleaning service the staff were genuinely helpful and made our staff easy when were dealing with so many other stresses. No wanting to venture to far we ate at the restaurant a few times and the friendly fast service was great. We really liked the Greek Buffet during the lunch hour.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by vicSteve Great option near hospital
Great friendly staff, clean modern rooms. Lots of food options in the surrounding area and close to the hospital (less than 5 minute walk).
Parking is a little pricey, but make sure to not pay at the public parking kiosk, instead go to the front desk with the stall number and your plate number. This reduces the rate from horrible to just bad (though quite possibly good for Vancouver daily parking). Parking was good until 6pm the day of checkout, so I had plenty of time to see a specialist then grab my vehicle (without having to move from one parking garage to another).
The wifi was pretty much unusable in my room, however there was an ethernet cable provided and network access from the desk (which resulted in liveable speeds).
Some nice views available from this hotel. I was able to look down on West Broadway but also see the Science World and False Creek.
Only criticism I can make is my room had a faint smell of moth balls (camphor). Mild but off-putting. The clothes I hung up ended up smelling of it when I got home (while the clothes I left in my bag were fine). I wasn't able to pinpoint the source, but I found it quite strange. Also someone had set the TV to demo mode (so it advertises itself). Easy enough fix (though required pressing buttons on the TV as the remote is limited). Probably some prankster that stayed in the room last.
