Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by General Comments Excellent hotel, service, and staff. We had a military reunion and every one enjoyed their stay. The food served at our banquet was excellent and the staff serving the meal and cleaning up was most professional. In fact we invited them in at the end of our banquet and thanked them all for their service. The location of this hotel would be great for a family with children, as it sits right on one of the best beaches on the east coast. Would highly recommend it for business or vacation. April 30, 2015

Food was good but bared from the 6TH floor restaurant by a rude, arrogant hostess was uncalled for. We did not have reservations but with 5 empty tables I'm sure we could have been seated. We were wearing slacks and sport shirts not jeans. If I lived in VB I would never return to this restaurant. This was last Friday 25TH Now the important question who makes your mattresses ????? Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by service was not great first of all when I made my reservations a couple of months ago I had requested a handicap accessiible room but when I arrived I was put in room 138 which was not h/p accessible the shower was small or a standard shower with no shower stool available when I requested a shower stool it was to large to fit in shower then we were told that they would put us in connecting room which never was made available so we were moved to room 109 which had the proper shower but had a sofa bed and a king size bed which was fine except when my aid pulled out sofa to prepare me for bed the mattress to small for the bed we called about that but nothing was done until we called again about the internet service which we had ok in room 138 but when we went to rm 109 we had no internet service most of the day till maintence man arrived to fix Wi-Fi service told him about the mattress on sofa and he rectified that situation also. the man that fixed the internet was very understanding April 30, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by wedding reception catering disappointing I was not satisfied with the reception dinner served. Talked with catering manager who felt that they did nothing wrong, although my guest did not receive drinks other than water. I was informed my guest were responsible for requesting tea or coffee! I had many guest inform me they were never offered anything to drink, other than the water served! Had I been informed of this prior to booking the hotel, I would have informed my guest of making these special request for drinks prior to traveling all the way to VA Beach if I was informed of that prior to the event. Instead, I had guest asking me throughout the reception if there was anything else to drink besides water. I was very unhappy with the catering. I was informed that "none of my guest complained by the catering manager!" The food tasted nothing like what I tasted at the tasting! Very disappointed with the meal! April 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by and the beat goes on so I called the previous week a few times and I always got cindy on the phone. she is great, phone skills is very important. and she never got short with me even though I did call probly one too many times. on the way up I got a call from alexis chacking on our arrival time because we had requested early check in and she wanted to touch base with us. I was running late and all things worked great, very nice of her to call. on to billie at the front desk. I met her at 330 am UGH my llil guy got sick in our room and there was no way we could stay in there. billie gave me another room close and said just leave yor stuff go sleep here and we will clean it first thing in the morning. WOW I really needed that. turns out we ended up in the ER at 8 am and returned around 10 to find our original room cleaned and ready. THANKS, did I mentions it was easter. so yea it means a lot that these guys took such good care of my family. also thanks to amber in housekeeping for putting me high on the list and Sophia for steam cleaning. Again thanks to the hotel for being awesome April 23, 2015

The highlight was the beds very confy lots of pillows and warn blankets. the room was updated and roomy. the breakfest is avg. but good little pricy but consistant with the area. the property is great 3 huge pools.
