My wife and I stayed at the above named hotel for 3 days, 26/27/28 of April.

The maitre d at breakfast is a credit to the hotel. A lovely person who goes more than the extra mile. so polite and friendly, just what you want in the morning in a hotel.

Checked in late. Friendly receptionist said there was no room available for upgrade despite Platinum Elite status, gave a drink voucher upon request. Bathrobes and bottled drinks were delivered promptly to the room. No slippers.
Room was tired and much smaller compared to other room allocated on previous stay. There were thin spots/holes in blackout curtains that let in sunlight in the morning. Great view of overground train line.
A noisy family with kids stayed opposite the room, woke everyone up early.
Drink and snack voucher was only for 1person/room, so if you have 2 people in the room the other person need to get own drink. Much prefer the old system of 1 drink/person/room.
Checked out staffs weren't pleasant, no thank you nor acknowledgement, felt as if we were unwanted guests that need to be shooed off.. Need to learn good manners from previous night's check in staff!
All things considered, prefer to stay with a competitor hotel chain who gives better room for comparable membership status - it's a fact as we also have membership for that competitor hotel chain.
