Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by mr Bar very poor selection of beer. All Import and heavy beers. Only 2 bottles Light Beer first night. Bartender ask Mgr. If any upstairs, he told her no. After I spoke with him, he went upstair for some. Was told Light Beer didn't sell. I ask if didn't sell why out but well stocked all other beers that I and others at bar didn't want. Would be slow in recommmedind this location. August 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice hotel This hotel has had some upgrades particularly in the lobby that have made it a very nice hotel. It is clean and comfortable. Sleep quality is good. The hotel has a nice little bar and restaurant which had good service as well. There isn't a lot of parking in front but there is plenty more in the back. Definitely a good stay. August 24, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice holiday inn Stayed here while moving daughter into apt for college. The location to UNCW was very convenient. The hotel was very nice and the staff accommodating. It is just a short drive to Wrightsville Beach which is a wonderful beach with many nice restaurants. It is also a short drive to downtown Wilmington, which also has many nice restaurants, shops and the battleship. August 20, 2015

At peak season, the hotel was at full occupancy and you would not have been able to tell due to the quietness of the room – did not even hear a single door slam. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good stay We had an enjoyable stay. However, the hotel was full of people attending a conference in the area and what looked to be a family reunion. As such, with a full hotel, there is only limited space for breakfast and it was hard for the staff to serve so many people. They tried. The pool area needs renovating and there is a note there stating it will happen in Summer 2015. Thankfully it did not interrupt our stay. We were impressed with Dominique in particular for being able to find us a room that fit our needs. She truly expressed a desire to help and was able to get us what we needed. August 12, 2015
