Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tiny room That must be the smallest hotel room i have ever stayed in. The room was on the inner side of the circle, of the hotel. There was spce for a bed. And that's it. What made it difficult for sleeping though, is that the head of the bed is right at the window, with light seeping through under and to the sides of the curtains. A very susprising room to be given as a Platinum Ambassador with IHG. May 3, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible smell in room and very noisy We booked the marathon package for the London Marathon. We were going to drive to the Hotel but decided the extra parking charge did not make that viable. When we arrived in our room there was a horrible smell. We opened the window but the noise of the planes made that not a good option. We reported the smell to reception so when we were out they sprayed some air freshener in the room - not really addressing the problem! Our sons' room next door had a hot water tap in the bath that was jammed and would not turn on. It was very difficult to get any sleep because of the planes. The next morning after our early breakfast (which was the best thing about the Hotel!) we left on the coach that had been promised to take us to the marathon start - only it didn't. No one at the Hotel had thought to give the driver the permit he needed to drive to the start, so after following his sat nav unsuccessfully because of all the road closures, we were asked to leave the coach and walk to the start. (I had thought 'transfer to the start' meant 'transfer to the start' - silly me!) When we contacted the Hotel, they responded that they would 'look into our comments'. We won't be staying at a Holiday Inn again! May 2, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable compact room Nice room with comfortable bed and pillows. Room was a bit small and not enough space for those with more than 1 suitacse or large suitcases, but manageable. I could hear the people in the room next door talking but otherwise it was nice and quiet and there was no noise from the nearby runway. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. I had a late flight and was able to store my luggage at the reception after I checked out. Also, I left a small bag on the Hoppa bus on the way to the airport and when I called the hotel reception, they were helpful and able to get in touch with the bus company to drop off my bag at the airport bus stop. Another plus that there is a free and very frequent 24 hr public bus service from the Central Bus Station that stops outside the hotel on the main road which made it easy to get to the Underground each day. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of the best IHG hotels I haver stayed in As a regular user of IHG hotels for fifteen years, I have enjoyed my stay at Heathrow Ariel Holiday Inn over the last three months, more then any where I have ever stayed before. The reception staff are so professional and helpful, the restaurant staff are friendly and smile constantly and the house keeping team have very high standard of cleanliness in the rooms. The food is of a very good standard and the breakfast is fantastic. It is going to be hard for me now, to leave this hotel and find similar standards elsewhere. I look forward to a return visit one day. April 30, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT VALUE I had an excellent "Executive" room for a good price, having booked well in advance. From the outside, the hotel doesn't look very appealing, but all aspects inside are very satisfying. I did not have dinner, but had some excellent wine suggested by the staff. Breakfast was also very well done and good value. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. April 27, 2015
